Joe Allen Stringer, age 66, a resident of Spring Creek Community, Honoraville, AL, died Wednesday June 22, 2011. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. in The Spring Creek Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Neal Kelley officiating and Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville, AL, directing. A visitation will be held Friday June 24, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Butler County Library of Greenville, AL.

Survivors include: Son: Russell Alan (Jennifer) Stringer, Greenville, AL.

Daughter: Elizabeth Anne (Geoffrey) Wood, Greenville, AL. Brother: Gerald (Jeannine) Stringer, Montgomery, AL. Two grandchildren: Brody Anderson Stringer and Caroline Grace Wood both of Greenville, AL.
