Malcolm Lamar Deas, 56, passed away May 29, 2011, at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital in Greenville, Ala.  Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Moss Point Presbyterian Church in Moss Point, Miss. He lived most of his life in the Pascagoula-Moss Point, Miss., area.  He finished high school in Moss Point and later attended Perkinson Junior College in Wiggins, Miss. He is survived by a son, Chris Deas of Mobile, Ala.; daughter, Lindsay Veloz of Slidell, La.; his parents, Yvonne and Chester Deas of Greenville, Ala., two sisters, Erin Laine (Bill) of New Orleans, La., Miriam McMullin (Pat) of Gautier, Miss., and four grandchildren.
