The Rays and the A’s split a doubleheader Tuesday night in Dixie Youth action.

The Rays took game one a two-game tilt 12-2 before the A’s rebounded to take game two 7-1.

Luke Taylor and Douglas Crew each homered and drove in two runs to pace the Rays’ offensive charge. Anthony Sellers and Zach Winters were each 2-for-2 at the plate, while Mark Patterson, William Sherling, Lance Powell and Brandon White each collected a hit.

DeArius Mitchell was 2-for-2 to lead the A’s. Joseph Price was 1-for-1.

In game one, Luke Taylor was credited with the win on the mound, while Ryan Davis picked up the win in game two.

Dixie Minor League

Rays 16, Braves 4

The Rays cruised to a 16-4 win against the Braves Thursday night in a Dixie Minor League showdown.

Cameron Meyers led the Rays with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. He also scored two runs.

Joshua Petty was 1-for-2 with two runs scored, while Moe Mosley was 1-for-2 with a run scored in the win.

Petty also earned the win on the mound.

Eli Rushing, Chris Bedgood, Bryce Yancey and Lance Smith each scored for the Braves.

Mets 18, Dodgers 3

The Mets topped the Dodgers 18-3 Thursday in Dixie Minor play.

Evan Clark, Cordale Williams and Tyrone Ingram each had a hit and scored three runs in the win.

Andrew Williams earned the win on the mound.

Josh Strickland, Eli Foster and Jan Seale each scored a run in the loss.

Mite League

A’s 14, Red Sox 0

The A’s blanked the Red Sox 14-0 Thursday night in Mite League action.

DeAgo Martin and Tyron Ingram were each 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the A’s.

Dylan Stinson and Owen McCollugh were each 1-for-2 to pace the Red Sox.

Cubs 11, Braves 8

The Cubs slipped past the Braves 11-8 Thursday night in Mite League play.

Lane Carter was 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Cubs, while Blaine Hinson and Nate Richardson were each 2-for-3.

Davis Gaston and Morgan Norris were each 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Braves.

Rangers 24, White Sox 6

The Rangers downed the White Sox 24-6 Thursday night in a Mite League showdown.

Sam Vansant was 4-for-4 at the plate to pace the Rangers’ attack. Cahley Acreman and Nicholas Sirmon were each 3-for-3.

Christian Simmons, Jerdarian Davison and Dawson Sarblaugh were each 1-for-2 at the plate to lead the White Sox.

Ponytails League

Rebels 19, Wildcats 4

The Rebels topped the Wildcats 19-4 Thursday night in Ponytails League action.

Takeria Walker was 3-for-3 to lead the Rebels. Ashley Brogden was 2-for-2 and Alex Merry was 1-for-2 in the win.

Taylor Haller and Mallory Conway were each 1-for-1 at the plate to lead the Wildcats.

Dixie Angels League

Diamond Divas 6, Outlaws 3

The Diamond Divas downed the Outlaws 6-3 Thursday night in Dixie Angels League action.

Izzy Foster, Anna Langford, Shelby Vickery, Alex Little, Sydni Colvin and Shaterika Rudolph each had a hit in the win.

Laura Beth Blackmon, Megan Phelps and Andrea Foster were each 1-for-1 in the loss.

Sassy Slammers 9, Go Gettas 5

The Sassy Slammers defeated the Go Gettas 9-5 Thursday night in Dixie Angels League play.

Heather Vernes was 1-for-2 and Katherine Tillery, Ally Johnson and Caitlin West each scored two runs in the win.

Kami Shufford homered for the Go Gettas and Jameria Thompson, Ialiyah Crenshaw and Tankeya Smith were each 1-for-2 with a run scored in the loss.
