Willie Belle Stringfellow, 92, a resident of Greenville, Ala., went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Funeral services will be at Buckaloo Pentecostal Holiness Church on Sunday, May 29, 2011, at 3 p.m. with Pastor James Peacock and Rev. Phillip Herring officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home officiating. The family will receive friends at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. She will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, Ala. She was born in Georgiana, Ala., on November 13, 1918, and was a member of Buckaloo Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as Secretary Treasurer and the Women’s Director. Mrs. Stringfellow was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Emma Myrick; husband, Zell Stringfellow; two sons, Raymond and Cecil Stringfellow; grandson, Kenneth Stringfellow; sisters, Annie Mae Lee, Mary Myrick, Jewell Bradley, Eula Myrick and Verla Daugtery; brothers, Calvin Myrick, Bill Myrick and Jim Green. She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Lee of Montgomery, Ala., Shirley Campbell of Pace, Fla.; son, Marion Elvin “Buddy” (Arrie Bell) Stringfellow of Greenville, Ala.; sister, Rosie L. Foster of Greenville, Ala.; nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She loved her family and friends and to have known her was to love her. She will be greatly missed by all. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jerry Lee, Christopher Lee, David Stringfellow, Stephen Stringfellow, Ryan Wooten, Olivier Dury, Robert Shippey and Joel Digby.
