Robert (Bobby) Newton Jones, 53, a resident of Quincy, Fla., died Monday, May 23, 2011, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday, May 27, 2011, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Bradford officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed the arrangements. Survivors include: wife, Shirley Jones, Quincy, Fla; sons, Christopher Jones, Monroeville, Ala., and Jason Jones, Maynardville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Brandilyn Keck, Tallahassee, Fla.; father, William Howard Jones, Georgiana, Ala.; mother, Mary Nanry, Ocala, Fla.; stepmother, RoseAnn Jones, Georgiana, Ala.; stepfather, George Nanry, Ocala, Fla.; sisters, Alive V. Jones, El Paso, Texas, and Susan Bradford, Georgiana, Ala.; brother, Ronald Jones, Morgan City, La.; stepbrothers, David Watson and Darren Watson, both of Georgiana, Ala.; stepsister, Theresa Lepene, New Hampshire; three grandsons and three granddaughters; a host of relatives and friends.
