Wilbur Elbert Oswald, Sr., 76, a resident of Wetumpka, Ala., and long time resident of Greenville, Ala., died Saturday May 21, 2011. Funeral services were held Tuesday May 24, 2011, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Simmons officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Oswald is survived by his son, Wilbur (Lisa) Oswald, Jr., Wetumpka, Ala., and his sister Myra Pouncey of Greenville, Ala., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Oswald was anxiously awaiting the birth of his grandson at the time of his death.
