The investigation into an apparent homicide near Glenwood is ongoing, according to the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department.

“No arrests have been made yet, but we are still tracking down leads and conducting interviews,” said investigator Heath Truman.

The body of DeLange Tawon Harris, 25, was discovered on May 3 lying in a ditch on Athens Church Road.

Harris lived on the Old Brantley-Luverne Road, and his body was discovered on Athens Church Road just east of the intersection with Golden Road.

Harris had been shot, and the Sheriff’s Department has been treating the case as a homicide.
