Rep. Charles Newton presented a $2,000 check for the purchase of physical education equipment to Greenville Elementary School Thursday.
“I got a call asking if I could find any money up in Montgomery that could be given to the school to purchase some items that were needed, and that’s what this is,” Newton said. “This is state education money that can be used for whatever the school needs.”
Principal Jai Hill said the money will be used to purchase physical education equipment.
