Dodgers edge A’s in Dixie Youth showdown

The Dodgers edged the A’s 4-3 Tuesday night in Dixie Youth League action.

Tripp Richardson, Leo Parker, Keller Rodgers and Jackson Vickery each scored a run for the Dodgers in the win.

Clay Thompson earned the win in relief of Richardson.

Chase Mansman pounded a triple and a double for the A’s, while Mason Keen belted a double and Joseph Price and Logan Till both singled in the loss.

Keen, Mansman and Anthony Kim each scored a run for the A’s.

Rays 11, Giants 1

The Rays cruised to an 11-1 win against the Giants Tuesday night in Dixie Youth League play.

Anthony Sellers belted a two-run home run to pace the Rays. Luke Taylor banged out two doubles and scored a pair of runs, and Brandon White finished with a double and a single and also scored two runs.

Martavious Patterson also doubled and scored two runs, while William Sherling, Tory Peavy and Brennan Neese each scored a run in the win.

Jimbo Wheeler singled and Reed Crosby doubled for the Giants. Tydarius Harris scored a run in the loss.

Men’s League

Extreme Audio 21, Sejong 7

Extreme Audio breezed past Sejong Tuesday night in Men’s League action.

Billy Devers led Extreme Audio’s offensive charge with a 4-for-4 effort at the plate, while Bodie Sampley, Steven Croley and Brad Horn were each 3-for-3. Horn also homered in the win.

Wayne Wiley, Rodney Davidson, Willie Pattersn, Nicholas Rudolph and Herman Rush each had a hit for Sejong in the loss.

Gary’s Paint & Body 17, Hwashin I

Gary’s Paint & Body topped Hwashin I 17-10 Tuesday night in Men’s League play.

Tony Means was 2-for-3 with a home run to help pace Gary’s Paint & Body. Vincent Savage was 3-for-3 and Alfred Marshall was 2-for-2 in the win.

Tony Parks was 2-for-2 and Kevin Brogden was 2-for-3 for Hwashin I.

Garrett’s Auto 16, Hwashin II 7

Garrett’s Auto downed Hwshin II 16-7 Tuesday night in Men’s League action.

Jarrod Lee and Andre Paige paced Garrett’s Auto. Both players were 2-for-3 at the plate.

Jessie McMeans was 1-for-3 in the win.

Willie Mason led Hwashin II with a 3-for-5 performance at the plate.

Terrance Mason and Jerome Davison were each 2-for-4 in the loss.

Clayton Homes 14, Sejong 13

Clayton Homes edged Sejong 14-13 Tuesday in Men’s League play.

Charleston Wilson and Jason Smith led Clayton Homes’ offensive charge. The duo went 3-for-4 at the plate in the win.

Rick Bourne chipped in a pair of hits for Clayton Homes.

Cardell Robinson was 3-for-4 and Wayne Wiley was 2-for-4 in the loss.

Hwashin I 16, Clayton Homes 15

Hwashin I slipped past Clayton Homes 16-15 Tuesday night in Men’s League action.

Gunner Davis led Hwashin I with a 3-for-3 performance at the plate.

Brandon Burnett was 2-for-2 in the win.

Antonio Smith, Jeremy Smith and Rick Bourne were each 2-for-2 at the plate in the loss.

Extreme Audio 12, Hwashin II 5

Extreme Audio cruised to a 12-5 win against Hwashin II Tuesday night in Men’s League play.

Leon Tetter led the way with a 3-for-3 effort at the plate, while both Brad Horn and Dennis Dicky were each 2-for-2.

Jerod Lee and Jesse McMeans were each 2-for-2 in the loss.
