Mr. Horace Ray “Buddy” Flowers Sr., age 69, a resident of Greenville,, died on Friday, April 8, 2011.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial followed at Shackleville Cemetery.  The family received friends from 12 – 2 p.m. prior to services.

Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Myrtle Lee Flowers of Lamison.  He is survived by his wife, Brenda Butler Flowers, daughter, Mary Ellen (Marty) Whigham of Greenville, grandchildren, Amber (Jared) Lewis of Mobile, Jessica Whigham of Mobile, Paul M. Whigham Jr. of Greenville, LeeAnne Whigham of Greenville, Caleb Whigham of Greenville, great grandchildren, Macy & Jared Lewis of Mobile, Kiersten Inman of Mobile, son, Horace Ray (Regina) Flowers Jr. of Grand Bay, grandchildren, Jennifer Flowers (Jason) Neese of Helena, Miss., Joshua Ray Flowers of Grand Bay, Jalyn Flowers of Grand Bay, great grandchild Camden Laron Neese of Helena, Miss., sister, Emmie Anderson of Birmingham, brother, Pete (Frances) Flowers, Jr.  of Pleasant Grove, mother-in-law, Bessie Raye Butler of Greenville, and many nieces and nephews.
