Alma Mae Banks Brown, age 93, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Mrs. Brown was born in Greenville on April 15, 1918 to Walter Crenshaw and Mary Ella Banks where she was the youngest of ten children. She was a resident of Ocean Springs for over 45 years and recently celebrated her 93rd birthday on April 15, 2011.

Mrs. Brown was a loving homemaker and Air Force wife who moved around the country and abroad with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and an avid gardener who enjoyed growing and sharing her flowers. Mrs. Brown was a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Ocean Springs.

She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart of 49 years, Rawdon T.Brown, her borhters and sister and a grandson, Chad Michaud.

Survivors include Rebecca McGuire and Judy (Andy ) Michaud, two grandchildren, Troy (Melissa) Williams and Craig (Laura) Michaud, four great-grandchildren, Grayson and Brayden Williams and Isabella and Colette Michaud and a host of loving nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. with a 3 p.m. funeral service at Harrison Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville.
