The McKenzie Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for another day of good music, good eats and arts and crafts this spring. McKenzie Fest is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown McKenzie. Be sure and bring a few things with you when you come, organizers say.
Bring your chair so you can “set a spell” and listen to the live entertainment featuring area musicians. Bring your appetite so you can enjoy the tasty concessions, including delicious baked good. And bring your walking shoes so you can browse among the booths to check out the handbags, sun catchers, wind chimes, candles, woodcrafts, jewelry, airbrushed items, children’s toys and much more that will be on display that Saturday. Admission is free.
