Clifford Walter Stallworth Sr.

Clifford Walter Stallworth Sr. died on Dec. 29, 2010. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 201l at 2 p.m. at Long Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Georgiana, Rev. C.A. Bennett, pastor. Interment followed at Second Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Evergreen. He was born Dec. 28, 1940 in Garland to the late Lillie Mae Brazell and Fred Still.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan, and attended Lewis College of Business in Detroit.  He retired from the City of Detroit after 30 years of dedicated service as a sanitation engineer foreman. He was last employed as a truck driver with Corley Trucking in Chapman.

He was a member of the Long Creek MBC until he was called to glory.

Cliff leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of 26 years, Ethel Stallworth; stepson, Larry Franklin; daughters, Angela Likely, Jeanetta Sheppard, Marion Stallworth Smith, Shantell Harris, and Shontell Harris, and sons Clifford Walter Stallworth Jr., Ricky Stallworth and Angelo Rue.

He also leaves 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 15 brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
