Annie Mae Hamilton, 83, died on Nov. 20, 2010 at L.V. Stabler Hospital in Greenville.

Annie Mae was born on November 20, 1927 to the late Clyde Marsh and Anna Owens in Butler County, Ala. She was the second of eight children, two whom preceded her in death.

Annie Mae confessed her belief to Christ at an early age. She united with the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where her membership remained.

Annie Mae married Claude Hamilton whom also preceded her in death. Annie Mae had no children of her own, but many has looked upon her as a motherly figure.

Annie Mae leaves to cherish her memory, four sisters and one brother; Marie Marsh, Montgomery, Ala, Edna Marsh, Georgiana, Ala., Claudia Jeff Marsh (Lucy), Chicago, Ill., Betty J. Primm, Warren, Ohio, and Jearlean Murray, Greenville, Ala., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. David and Leshia Hancock and children, her extended family.
