Brenda G. Powell age 56 a resident of Honoraville, died Monday, November 22, after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held ,Saturday, November 27 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with Reverend William Leverette officiating. Interment followed in Cool Spring Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

A visitation was held Friday, Nov. 26 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Powell was a proud veteran of the US Navy  of which she served for 8 years. She also worked several years in the Pathology Division of Testing of Baylor University as well.

Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Pearl Powell of Honoraville; brothers, Dale Powell of Muskogee, Okl., and Joe Powell, Gary Powell, Nils Powell, all of Houston, Tex.; sister, Annette Powell White of Lapine; 11 nieces and nephews and four great-nieces and nephews.

Ms. Powell is preceded in death by her father, James Powell and brother, Kenneth Powell.
