Shira Boggan of Greenville and Kenya Hawkins of Greenville were united in marriage at 4 p.m., October 9, 2010 at Walnut Street Church of Christ in Greenville.

The bride is the daughter of Juanita and Willie Boggan of Greenville. A 2000 graduate of Greenville High School, she earned a B.S. in Marketing from Jacksonville State University.

The groom is the son of Linda Perdue and Johnny Womack. A 1997 graduate of Greenville High School, he also have a B.S. in Marketing from JSU.

One hundred guests attended the ceremony with a reception following at Cambrian Ridge, Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Greenville.

The couple resides in Lawrenceville, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta, with their one-year-old son, Kenya Hawkins Jr.
