Firehouse to donate money for cause

The Haunted Firehouse will conclude Saturday and organizers are hoping for a big final weekend.

And for a good reason.

Organizers will donate $1 from every ticket sold this weekend to help Chelsea Rae Huggins, who was severely injured in a car accident on Oct. 7 and is currently receiving treatment in Atlanta.

Huggins has limited mobility in her upper body and although she has some feeling in her legs, she remains paralyzed. She is the daughter of Joe and Amy Huggins.

A benefit is being planned for Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greenville Fairgrounds. There will be entertainment, Sweet Shoppe sales, children’s games and door prizes for those in attendance.
