A British invasion is about to take place in Greenville.  And you’re invited.

“Yesterday and Today: The Beatles Interactive Experience” arrives at the historic Ritz Theatre at 7 p.m., Monday, as the second production of the Greenville Area Arts Council’s 2010-2011 season.

The musicians involved, who mostly hail from Omaha, Neb., strive to expertly to recreate, not the look, but the music and harmony of the Fab Four, and they let their audiences pick the song list.

“When you arrive at the theater Monday night, you’ll get to list the Beatles songs you would like for them to play and why they are special to you. Those audience submissions will determine the concert we hear that night,” said Nancy Idland, executive director of the GAAC. “It’s going to be a very fun and memorable experience.”

Tickets for “Yesterday and Today” are $20 for adults and $15 for students and are available at The Pineapple and Grayson’s in Greenville and at the box office.
