Graveside services for infant Xavier Lee Merriweather of Honoraville were held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Robert Jackson officiating.

Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directed.

He was born on May 16, 2010, and was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sammie Merriweather.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Dedra Merriweather, Highland Home; father, Chester Shepherd, Pine Level; brother, Kirkland Merriweather, Highland Home; two grandmothers, Viola Merriweather of Honoraville and Mary Alice Shepherd of Montgomery; great-grandmother, Lillian Shepherd, Highland Home; godparents, Phenia Elliot, Honoraville and Sandra Robinson, Highland Home, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
