Carter; his children, La’Tonya Lewis, Le’Aundrea Carter, both of Atlanta, Ga.; Alhoseph Cockrel, Dorian Cockrel, both of Cumberland, Ky.; LaGwendolyn Tyson, Greenville; Kassandra Cockrel, Montgomery; Virginia Tyson, Greenville; Kathleen Cockrel, Selma; Geraldine (Eddie) Aerrington, Montgomery; Torrance (Sonja) Carter, Greenville; Johnathon Jordan, Montgomery and Adrian Carter, Greenville; two sisters, Minnie Parmer, Niagra Falls, N.Y.; Alice Long, Birmingham; 24 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
