Bobby Ginn, Chief Executive Officer of L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital, will leave his post June 11 to become Chief Operating Officer at Crestwood Medical Center, a growing 150-bed hospital in Huntsville.

“This is an exciting professional opportunity for me to apply what I’ve learned at L.V. Stabler in larger organization,” said Ginn. “I have mixed emotions though, because I have enjoyed working with our team of employees, physicians and volunteers at L.V. Stabler. My family and I have come to love Greenville and will miss the community.”

He has provided quality patient care and satisfaction, said Dr. Jean Thompson, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of L.V. Stabler, and has built a strong relationship with physicians, recruiting a number of interns and specialists to the city.

“With Bobby’s leadership, we have built an outstanding medical staff and employee team who will remain focused on our most important mission – patient care,” said Thompson. “We wish him well in his new position.”

Interim CEO will be Rich McAuliffe. McAuliffe comes to L.V. Stabler from 560-bed Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham.

“Rich will help us ensure a seamless transition and we appreciate his leadership while we work to identify a permanent leader,” said Thompson.
