The Fort Dale Academy varsity girls tennis team captured its sixth straight title in Montgomery on Tuesday, matching the AISA’s record for team titles.

Additionally, several members of the FDA tennis team captured individual state championships, including Lauren Poole (No. 1 seed), Anne Matthews (No. 2 seed), and Taylor Autrey (No. 3 seed). Matthews and Poole also won a state title in doubles play.

Autrey and Kennedy Harris were state runners-up in doubles.

Matt Langford and Perry Singleton were state runners-up for the FDA boys tennis team.

The Fort Dale boys came in third overall in the state.
