Maiben Folmar, 68, a resident of McKenzie, Al. died Saturday, April 10, 2010 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 from New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Clifton Morris officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al. directing. He was preceded in death by his Wife: JoAnn Folmar, Daughter: Teressa Stinson, and Son: Floyde Folmar. Survivors include: Daughters: Melessia (Van) Stinson, Georgiana, Al., and Sissy (Hollis) Stinson, Childersburgh, Al. Sons: Kenith Folmar, McKenzie, Al., and Boyde (Sandra) Folmar, Evergreen, Al. Sisters: Geraldine Thompson, Pensacola, Fla., and Oleta (Elvin) Smith, Georgiana, Al. Brothers: Marvin (Opal) Folmar, McKenzie, Al., Melvin (Sue) Folmar, Georgiana, Al., and Maynard Folmar, Rutledge, Al. 11 Grand Children and 11 Great Grand Children. Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to services.
