GILBREATH, Mrs. Datha Roberta, 81, a resident of Luverne died Thursday March 4, 2010. Graveside services were held at 10:30 am Saturday March 6, 2010 at the Sardis Cemetery with Elder Jerry Register officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Gilbreath was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Estelle Dorman Wilson and eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sister, Grace Wilson Parham and a number of nieces and nephews.

BEALL, Mr. Charles Allen, 79, a resident of Luverne died Saturday March 6, 2010. Graveside services were held at 11 am Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Rock Hill Cemetery with Ministers John Dickinson and Tim Gafford officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Beall is preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Watson; parents, Julius and Ruby Cline Beall; and a brother, Julius Herbert Beall.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bernice Tomlin Beall; one daughter and son-in-law, Charlene Beall and Teddy Faulkner; and three grandsons, Jonathan Watson, Eric Watson and Matthew Brian Faulkner.

CORLEY, Miss Mary Kathleen, 67, a resident of Brantley died Monday March 8, 2010. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday March 11, 2010 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Miss Corley is preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Lessie May Corley; two sisters, Myrtle Olene Odom and Vonnie Mae Ogburn; and a brother, Calvin Wayne Corley. Survivors include a sister, Debra Ann (Rex) Majors and a brother, Lucius Calvin Corley.

MORGAN, Mrs. Judith Ann, 71, a resident of Luverne, died Monday, March 08, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11 AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Morgan; grandson, Phillip Morgan; parents, Otis and Doris Price Taylor; and sister, Jean Farrar.

She is survived by four children, Melinda(T.J.) Defee, Michael(Donna) Morgan, John(Paula) Morgan and Jeffrey Morgan; six grandchildren, Jeremy Floyd, Magan Morgan, Kelly Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Amanda Morgan and Richard Morgan; and a special friend, Willie T. “Terry” Sport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.

SAVELL, Mrs. Lillie Gaines, 67, a resident of Dozier, died Monday, March 15, 2010. Funeral services were held Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 10 AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Kelly and Rev. Nick Gaines officiating. Interment followed in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Savell is preceded in death by her son, Walter John Davis and daughter, Dale McLennan. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Savell; seven children, Bonita ( Bobby) Witherington, Don Davis, Rita(Thomas) Kelly, Maria (Roland) Plaisance, James Davis, Kenny(Robin) Savell and Lynn McLennan; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth(John) Mount, Sarah(George) Sewell and Margie Prescott; five brothers, Q.P. Gaines, D. H.(Jeanette) Gaines, W. H.(Rose) Gaines, Bobby(JoAnn) Gaines and Nick(Betty) Gaines.

Active pallbearers were Justin Witherington, Westley Witherington, Dusty Morrow, Ryan Kelly, Peyton Davis, and Michael Tisdale.

JORDAN, Mr. Ronald Larry, 38, a resident of Montgomery died suddenly Sunday March 14, 2010. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Thursday March 18, 2010 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Osgood officiating. Interment followed in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Jordan and his grandparents, Raymond and Annie Mae Jordan.

Survivors include two daughters, Brittany ( Jordan Payton) Jordan and Breanna Jordan; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Payton; father, Larry (Terri) Jordan; brother, Ricky Jordan; three sisters, Sharon Lawler, Tammy Cleveland and Staci Jordan; and two step-brothers, Thomas Smith and Timothy Smith.

NORRIS, Mr. Rafus Lenford, 74, a resident of Montgomery and formerly of Andalusia died Sunday March 14, 2010. Graveside services will be 11 am Friday March 19, 2010 at Joquin Cemetery with Rev. Billy Payne officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Horace L. and Alice Sims Norris.

Survivors include four sisters, Betty N. Payne, Frances N. Lane, Helen Jeanette Hodge and Ethell Robbins; two brothers, Harold “ Pete” Norris and John Randel Norris; and a very special friend, Ms. Ruby. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 9:30am until 10:30am.

FINLAY, Mrs. Mary Annie, 78, a resident of Luverne, died Monday, March 22, 2010. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11AM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment followed in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Finley is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Finlay and granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Robbins. She is survived by two children, Kathy Finlay Morgan and Donnie(Vickie) Robbins; four grandchildren, Dusty Morgan, Jennifer(Timmy) White, Carol Robbins and Ronnie(Tina) Robbins; seven great grandchildren; one brother, T. J. Sims.

ANDERSON, Mr. Joe Doris, 78, a resident of Luverne, AL died Monday, March 29, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Rolling officiating. Interment will follow at Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his mother, Ila Mae Lyons. He is survived by his ex-wife, Lou Anderson; three daughters, Debbie(Ace) Coley, Kari Lee Manning and Shari Alexander; four grandchildren, Alex Alexander, Kevin Manning, Blake Coley and Brittany Downing; two great grandchildren, Madison Rylee McCord-Manning and Kincey Coley. Active pallbearers will be Tim Fowler, David Fowler, Steve Stephenson, Kenny Jones, Craig Wells, and Ace Coley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 pm until 8 pm.

WRIGHT, James C., 89, a resident of Highland Home, AL died Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11 AM from Salem Church of Christ with Ministers Don Myers, Caleb Cochran and David Moorer officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Wright is preceded in death by his parents G. C. and Ella Pouncey Wright; three sisters, Mamie Lee Moses, Verna Sansom and Odessa Lloyd; three brothers, Felix, Judson and Jack Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty G. Wright; two sons, Steve(Jane Ann) Wright and Paul Wright; seven grandchildren, Daniel(Abby) Wright, Michael Wright, Nathan Wright, Judson Wright, Katherine Wright, Shannon(Jesse) Tah and Jamie Wright; one great grandchild, Marianna Wright; and one sister, Erdine Stough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 pm until 8pm.

EILAND, Mr. Samuel R. “ Sammy “, 52, a resident of Highland Home died Wednesday March 31, 2010.Graveside services were held at 2 pm Saturday April 3, 2010 at Petrey Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Eiland is preceded in death by his parents, Ray V. and Ruth Henderson Eiland. Survivors include his wife, Sue Tidwell Eiland; three children, Randy ( Teresa ) Parker, James (Courtney) Parker and Sherry Parker (Rob) Manning. Active pallbearers were Randy Parker, James Parker, Johnny Eiland, Larry Eiland, Weston Franklin and Shelton Franklin.
