CRAFT DAY: Several children participated in the Luverne Public Library’s Craft Day on Monday, Jan. 26. Library Director Kathryn Tomlin read the books “Brownie and Pearl Step Out” and “Cat up a Tree” before helping the children make their own cat ears to wear. Also attending was Samson, the 16-pound tomcat, who enjoyed all the attention.

Pictured with Assistant Director Regina Grayson (in back) and Samson are: Hun Won Choi, Min Woo, Min Seo Kim, HaYeong Jin, Haiden Davis, Collin Williamson, Gracie Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, J.J. The next Craft Day will be Monday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m., complete with a “jumping frog” contest and a Valentine’s Day craft.
