Mrs. Dorothy M. Chavers, 70, a resident of Greenville, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. from Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Newton officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Interment followed in Rock Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include, daughters, Sherry Gonsalves, Linda Watson, both of Greenville, Barbara Bell of Honoraville, and Kathy Fox of Dothan; brothers, Ralph “Bobby” Newton and Ronnie Newton, both of Greenville, and Ray Newton of Andalusia; sisters, Martha Skipper and Ann Foster, both of Greenville, Diane Morgan of Montgomery, Kitty Stuart of Atmore, and Lavonne Gafford of Austin, Tex.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
