FYE 71, Forest Home 63

West Robinson scored 24 points and Kevin Norris added 17 as FYE beat Forest Home in Greenville Parks and Recreation Men’s League action.

Robinson scored 11 of his points in the fourth quarter.

Rashad Knight had 22 to lead Forest Home. Barry Owens had 11 and Jermaine Roper scored 10 points.

FYE plays Fort Deposit at 8 p.m. in the first round of the Men’s Basketball League Tournament on Monday in the old Greenville High School gym.

219 82, DSO 90

Jerome Davidson had 19 points, Kim McMeans scored 16, Jimmy Lawson scored 13, and Joe Watson had 12 to lead 219. Tory Means also added 15 points for DSO.

JaQuez Burnett had a game-high 28 in the loss for 219.

Jeremy Robinson added 20 and Jerome Chatman scored 19. Kelvin Mitchell Sr. had 10.

219 plays Young Money in the tournament on Monday at 7 p.m. in the old Greenville High gym.

DSO, unbeaten during the season, plays Paulk & Associates at 8 p.m. in Dunbar.

Josh Simmons had 12 to lead Ft. Deposit. Joe Simmons scored 10.

Justin Pierce led Paulk & Associates with 11.

Young Money 70, Hwashin 61

DeMarcus Griffin scored 14 points for Young Money. Booby Goldsmith also added 14.

Michael Ball had 23 points to lead Hwashin.

Ronnie Paulk & Associates 46, Young Money 69

DeMarcus Griffin scored 19 points to lead Young Money. Macolm Matland had 17 and LaDarrence Perdue added 14.

Caleb Gardner scored 11 points for Ronnie Paulk & Assoc.

Forest Home 71, DSO 83

DSO got double-digit efforts from Kim McMeans (21), Jerome Davison (15), Edward Seawright (17), and Tory Means (11) in the 83-71 win over Forest Home.

Forest Home was led by Rashad Knight’s 24 points. Barry Owens scored 17 and Jermaine Roper added 12.

Junior Boys

Lakers 30, Heat 44

Jermaine Jones had eight points in the Heat’s win over the Lakers. Justin Bough had 10 for the Lakers.

Magic 28, Bobcats 30

Joe Longmire, Quintrell Ball, and DeBrian Crenshaw all had six points each to lead the Bobcats. Wayne Loveless had a game-high nine points for the Magic.

Senior Boys

Hawks 57, Lakers 50

Kwamane Davison led the Hawks in the win, dropping in 22 points.

The Lakers posted three players in double figures: Rashad Cannon had 18 points, Cavantae Roberts scored 14, and De’Eric Powell had 13.

Cavaliers 46, Magic 41

Rico Maye’s 16-point effort led the Cavaliers. Dempsey Yelders had 11 for the Magic.

Cavaliers 41, Hawks 55

Rashad Davidson’s 18 points led the Hawks in the win. Kwamane Davison scored 13.

Rico Maye had 15 for the Cavaliers. Derrick Powell added 10.

Magic 44, Lakers 55

De’Eric Powell had 22 points and Rashad Cannon added 18 to lead the Lakers. LaDarius Powell had 15 to lead the Magic.

Celtics 4, Heat 3

Tydaris Powell scored all four of the Celtics’ points and all in the first quarter. Chris Bedgood, Erik Rudolph and Emmanuel Savage scored one point apiece for the Heat.

JaMichael Boone scored 19 points for the Lakers. Javarious Posey led the Magic with 13.

Warriors 12, Bama Girls 13

Shakireyanna Rudolph’s seven points led the Bama Girls. Artasia Cannon had seven for the Warriors.

Shakireyanna Rudolph had 11 to lead the Bama Girls. Tamara Bedgood led the Warriors with four and Destinee Smith added four points also.

Kevin Norris Jr.’s five points led the Hornets. Charles Warren had three for the Magic.
