A search warrant and arrest executed shortly before Christmas resulted in Sheriff’s Office investigators confiscating nearly $2,000 in drugs.

Andre DeShawn McMillian, 34, of Highland Home was charged with first degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and first degree cocaine trafficking.

Investigators found nearly 20 bags of marijuana, a bag of cocaine, digital scales, a Taurus 9mm handgun and cash.

“This is just another step in our war against drugs in the county,” said sheriff Charles West.
