The Enterprise Career Center will certify and screen all individuals interested in the training. Since funding is provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 all students must qualify for WIA to enter the class. Out of the 35 course participants 2/3 must be Dislocated Workers and 1/3 Adults. In addition, each individual must take a skills assessment test by the Career Center to determine reading and math skills.

Interested participants must be 21 years of age or older and referred to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College by the Enterprise Career Center. Prior to starting a class students must provide a Motor Vehicle Driving Record, valid AL Drivers License, pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen, and have a CDL Learners Permit.
