The heavy rain that fell for several days earlier this week has driven up creek levels and caused several roads around the county to close.

As of press time Wednesday afternoon, here is a list of closed roads:

West Robinson Road

Sheep Trail Road (between CR 57 and South Mount Zion)

Little Horse Creek Road

Parker Creek at Settlement Road intersection

Swanner Bridge Road

Burnout Road

Sports Road

Settlement Road

Kilcrease Road

County work crews are constantly working to get these roads open, said a highway department spokesman.

While these roads are the only ones officially closed, many are still rough, so use caution when traveling.

More rain is expected before the end of the week, which could further impact road conditions around the county.
