Marcia Elizabeth Lawrence, 68, a resident of Greenville, died on Tuesday evening, December 1, 2009 at Stabler Hospital in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her father, James Aubrey Forehand and nephew James Keith Hamilton.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Gandy officiating. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 in Octagon Cemetery, Linden. Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy H. Lawrence of Greenville; two sons, Jimmie H. Lawrence Jr. (Debbie) of Greenville and John Wesley Lawrence of Demopolis; six grandchildren, Jon Nolan Lawrence, Shelby Rebekah Lawrence, Courtney Elizabeth Lawrence, Carly Ann Lawrence, Gabriel Mac Lawrence and Catie Bell Lawrence; mother, Elizabeth Payne Forehand of Thomasville; sister, Judy Forehand Hamilton (Charles) of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Cecilia Moore Lawrence of Octagon; sister-in-law, Patricia Lawrence Sullivan (Vic) of Tuscaloosa; nephews, Jay Biggs of Tuscaloosa, Stacey Mooring of Coker, Ken Hamilton (Ellen) and Allen Hamilton, both of Thomasville, and nieces, Cari Hamilton and Jill Hamilton, both of Thomasville.
