Swine Flu vaccine to be given Nov. 13

The Butler County Health Department will administer H1N1 Influenza vaccinations on Friday, November 13 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until vaccine supplies are depleted. Please bring insurance, Medicaid and Medicare cards. The following groups are being targeted to receive the vaccine:

– Pregnant women.

– Household and caregiver contacts of children younger than six months of age

– Persons from six months through 24 years of age.

– Individuals ages 25 through 64 years with medical conditions associated with a higher risk of flu complications (such as asthma, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV and certain types of arthritis).
