A late-night robbery attempt last week has ended in the arrest of a Greenville man and a juvenile.

In the early hours of Oct. 22, a group of people was congregating outside on the 300 block of Milner Street when the two suspects walked up with a gun.

Curtis O’Neal Jones made an attempt to grab the gun, and two shots were fired that struck Jones in his prosthetic leg.

Both admitted to the crime and were charged for first-degree robbery, which is a Class A felony.

The Greenville Police Department has also announced the arrest of Larry Perdue, who is charged with three counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
