Gertrude Hawkins , age 91, a life long resident of Ft. Deposit, died on Friday, October 9, 2009.
Funeral services were held Sunday , October 11, 2009 at The Ft. Deposit United Methodist Church with Reverend Dennis Carlson officiating. Interment followed in Myrtlewood Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing. A visitation was held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Survivors include : daughters, Louise Strickland , Ft. Deposit and Jeanette Maund , Savannah, Ga., nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;
six great-great-grandchildren and a lot of good friends.
