A Crenshaw County man has been arrested and charged with the rape and sodomy of two juveniles, both under the age of 12 at the time of the incidents.

Willard Dale Davis, a 34-year-old white male, was arrested by the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 31 in Rutledge. Investigators were contacted by the Crenshaw County Department of Human Resources about the case.

According to police reports, Davis used a steak knife to threaten his victims. He also threatened to kill their family members or anyone the victims might tell in order to keep them quiet.

Davis is currently in the Crenshaw County jail charged with two counts of first degree sexual abuse, two counts of first degree rape, and one count of first degree sodomy. Further investigations are pending, and Davis’s trial date has not been set yet.
