A Greenville man is offering a $1,000 reward to be paid on the conviction of the suspect, or suspects, who broke into his log cabin near his residence this weekend.

Bobby T. Branum said he believes the burglary happened on Friday night. The suspects went through the back door, knocking it open. The cabin is located on Spring Hill Rd. near Spring Hill Baptist Church.

Items stolen included: A Cabinet Victrola with 76 RPM record, a pie safe, a wardrobe containing handmade quilts, a cast iron wood heater, and a double ox yoke. Branum asked that anyone with information to please contact the Butler County Sheriff’s Office at 382-6521.
