Garvice Barson Tindal, 86, Greenville native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died at home on Saturday, September 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Gossett Tindal; three children, Elizabeth Ann Smith (Steven) of Mobile, James Tindal (Connie) of Wichita, Kansas and Mark Tindal (Lisa) of Brea, California; five grandchildren, Brad Summers (Shari), Darrell Tindal, Andrew Tindal, Alex Tindal, and Courtney Marie Tindal; a niece, Barbara Bland Zimmerman; nephew, Boyd Bland, and other relatives.
Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 10.
