The Lady Cougars will host EPA Wednesday, Sept. 2nd, with the game beginning at 3 p.m. This will be an intense and important game for the Lady Cougars.

“We did some good things this week, but we are still not maintaining a high level of play on a consistent basis,” head coach Michael Malpass said. “This team has the intelligence and skill to challenge anyone, but has to always be at their best.” This year’s team is led in kills by sophomore, Jasmine Wise. The leading blocker for the team is senior, Kayla Beasley, and leading in assists is the team’s setter, Kelly Sasser.

Leading in digs so far in the season are seniors Laken Thomas and Becca Sexton, who also plays in the team’s libero position.

The Cougars best servers so far this year have been seniors Candice Dunn and Caitlin Mount.

The next home game will be Sept. 10 with the Autauga Lady Generals, set to begin at 4 p.m.
