BLACKMON, Mrs. Audrey Williamson, 57, a resident of Brantley died Tuesday, August 18, 2009.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette officiating.

Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her parents, Gay and Nola Mae Williamson and three brothers, Virgil, Randal and Malcolm Williamson. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, John David Blackmon; one son, Michael S. Compton; one grandson, Keegan Compton; four step-children, Cary (Donna) Blackmon, Dusty Blackmon, Brandy (Jason) Howard and Shana (Steven) Mosley; eight step-grandchildren, Tyler, Presley and Cory Blackmon, Katlin, Ashton and Abbi Howard and K’ley and Landon Mosley; and a sister, Evelyn (Mervin) Schofield.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
