GRIFFITH, Mrs. Betty Jane, 59, a resident of Luverne and formerly of St. Mary’s , Ohio died Monday, August 17, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Griffith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Mark Lewis of Glenwood; three grandchildren, Richard Lewis, Nathan Lewis and Amber Lewis all of Glenwood; four sisters, Bonnie (Ballard) Chaffins, Jan Mackenbaugh, Nancy (Buddy) Dials and Charlotte Compton; and two brothers, Jake (Melissa) Shoffstall and Sid Shoffstall.

A memorial service will be scheduled in Ohio at a later date.
