Joyce Lee Johnson Hayes, 73, a Butler County native and resident of McKenzie, died August 9, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Sweet Home Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Joyner officiating and Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Burial followed in Elizabeth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in McKenzie with Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by: husband, Henry H. Hayes of McKenzie; sons, Steven Kendrick Johnson, Victor Johnson. Joseph Lee Johnson and Alan Johnson; sisters, JoAnn Fuller and Edwina Faust, 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
