Due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, Siran Stacy has dropped out of Georgiana’s Back-to-School Bash.

Auburn’s Wayne Dickens is still scheduled to appear, said event coordinator Allen Stephenson.

“It ought to be a good event,” he said. “Dickens is a great speaker, and we’re expecting lots of people.”

The music group Southland will also be performing.

The event is set for Friday night at Hank Williams Park in Georgiana.

The serving of food will begin at 6 p.m.
