Johnnie Gaston Cowart, 90, a resident of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 3 p.m. from Antioch East Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Boulware and Rev. Todd Cowart officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch East BaptistChurch Cemetery. Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his wife, Mary Stella L. Cowart of Greenville; two sons, Mickey Cowart (Barbara) of Tuscaloosa and Dale N. Cowart of Greenville, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Thursday evening, July 2, 2009.
