Laura Frances Burkett, 73, a resident of Ft. Deposit, died Friday, May 15, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Burial in Forever Home Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include: husband, Rayford Burkett, Ft. Deposit; sons, Rocky Burkett, Perdido, Fla., Ronald Burkett, Greenville and Robert Burkett, Fort Deposit, and four grandchildren.
