Herman Schofield, age 87, a lifelong resident of Greenville, died Friday , May 8, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday , May 10 , 2009 , 3 p.m. at Buckaloo Pentecostal Church with Reverend Phillip Herring officiating. Interment followed in the Buckaloo Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include : wife , Jean M. Schofield , Greenville; children, Judy ( Phillip ) Bloodsworth , Donnie Ray ( Sandra ) Schofield, Joyce Schofield ,
Donnie Faye ( David ) Boggan , Alan Wayne ( Charmane ) Schofield , John Schofield , James ( Luann ) Schofield, Calvin ( Sandra ) Schofield , Tim ( Sharon ) Boutwell , Mary ( Charlie ) Yates , Sarah ( Jack ) Owens and numerous grandchildren , great Grandchildren and great – great – grandchildren and many nieces & nephews,
two sisters, Sue Merren and Zula ( Virgil ) True.
Mr. Schofield was preceded in death by children:
Edgar Bloodsworth , Earl Bloodsworth, Marie Cannon & Herman Schofield Jr.
