Elise Margret Phelps,, age 76, a resident of Greenville, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 30,2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Driscoll officiating. Interment followed in Damascus Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing.

daughters :Katherine Phelps, Patricia Whited of Atlanta; sons, Larry ( Lisa) Phelps , Ft. Hood , Texas and Frank ( Stacey ) Phelps , Greenville; eight grandchildren, Daryl , Luther and Kaitlin Phelps , Greenville,
Patrick , Sam , and Hans Phelps , Ft. Hood , Texas , Emily Whited , Atlanta and Marise Gouthier , Atlanta.
