Mrs. Jerolene Bruner Sirmon, 85, a resident of Minter, passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2009. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home, with Rev. William Earnest officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sirmon is preceded in death by two husbands, George Marvin Till and Glenn Stanley Sirmon; parents, John Charles and Beana McKinney Bruner. Mrs. Sirmon is survived by son, Johnny (Penny) Till of Braggs; daughters, Jean (George) Styles of Braggs, Denise (Michael) Skipper of Columbus, Ga.; grandchildren, Angela (Ken) Barlow, Dan (Tammy) Till, Josh Till, Sallie (Seth) Gowan, Till (Rachel) Owen; great-grandchildren, Lizzy and Trey Barlow, Zach, Drew and Anna Grace Till; sisters, Bettie Crysel, Frances Thompson, Eunice Reardon, Janet Paluch; brother, Thad Bruner; sister-in-law, Mary Bruner. The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made at Alabama Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
