Martha Katheryn (Hawkins) Grace, a resident of Georgiana, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the age of 92. Funeral services were held Monday, March 16, 2009 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mt. Olive West Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Grace was a devoted member of the Georgiana Methodist Church was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years, during which she held many offices. She was a true star and faithful to her order as long as she was able to attend.
Mrs. Graces was predeceased by her husband, John Calvin Grace. Survivors include her children, Judy Grace Daniels of Tallahassee, Fla. and Janice Grace Butland of Granville Ferry, Novia Scotia, Canada; granddaughter, Jana Butland McCarthy of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Helen Hartley of Daytona Beach, Fla.; brothers, David Hawkins of Georgiana and Herbert Hawkins of Auburn.
