The State of Alabama Historical Commission and the Alabama Cemetery Preservation Alliance, Inc. will sponsor a one-day cemetery preservation workshop on February 27, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery in Greenville. 

The workshop will feature hands-on demonstrations on how to properly clean and repair historic grave markers. 

Registration is not required and the event is free and open to all interested individuals.
