Fred Morris Bass, age 75, of Evergreen, died at the University of Alabama in Birmingham Hospital on February 4, 2009.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen directing.
Mr. Bass was born on October 2, 1933 in Georgiana. He was a soil conservation technician.
He is survived by: a wife, Pat Bass of Evergreen; son, David Bass (Michele) and daughter, Patsy Hart (Greg), all of Murfreesboro, Tenn., six grandchildren, Jason Bass, Stephen Bass, Katie Ann Bass, Caroline Bass, Zach Hart and Gracie Hart.
